Every interval, Sunnn+ reads the wholesale price and decides: charge from the grid when it is cheap, hold, or export when prices spike. No app-watching, no timers to set.
Safety clamped, always
Never discharges below your reserve, never exceeds your export limit. If prices go stale or anything is uncertain, it falls back to safe self-use. Fail safe, never fail open.

We check your system
Our team links your battery and confirms it is reachable and controllable. Sungrow and Tesla owners approve Sunnn+ on the brand's own site first. We also check nothing else is already trying to control it, then set your reserve floor and export limit. The first switch-on for every battery is supervised.

Sunnn+ works with Localvolts only. Localvolts is an electricity retailer that passes the live five-minute wholesale price through to you, for power you buy and power you sell. NSW and SA battery schemes
Localvolts is an approved VPP provider for the NSW PDRS (BESS2) and SA REPS (VPP1) battery schemes, so eligible customers may get a one-time payment under the scheme. The schemes set the rules, and Localvolts and the scheme’s certificate provider check who qualifies.

What do I need to use Sunnn+?
A battery and inverter from a brand we support, and a Localvolts account (Localvolts covers ACT, NSW, QLD, SA and TAS). Sunnn+ must be the only thing controlling the battery, so turn off any virtual power plant (VPP) first. Brands that work now: Fox ESS, SAJ, Sungrow (SH hybrids), Deye, Sunsynk and Tesla Powerwall. Check your battery on the compatibility page. If you do not have a battery yet, talk to us about a system first.
Does Sunnn+ work with my battery brand?
It works now with Fox ESS, SAJ, Sungrow (SH hybrids), Deye, Sunsynk and Tesla Powerwall. AlphaESS and Sigenergy are coming soon. GoodWe, Huawei, Enphase and SolaX are waiting on the brand to give us access, so we cannot connect them yet. Other brands may not be supported. Search your brand on the compatibility page and, if it is not listed, tell us what you have.
Is it safe to let software control my battery?
Every command is checked and read back to confirm. Sunnn+ never discharges below the reserve you set and never exceeds your export limit. If anything is uncertain, it reverts to normal self-use. There is a kill switch and a per-site pause at all times.
How does Sunnn+ make me money?
On the wholesale market the price moves every few minutes and sometimes goes very high or even negative. Sunnn+ charges your battery when power is cheap and sells stored energy back when the export price spikes. Earnings depend on prices, energy use and your system, and are not guaranteed.
What does it cost?
Sunnn+ is free for everyone with a supported system, whether Sunnn supplied it or you already own it. There is no Sunnn+ subscription. Trading needs a separate Localvolts account. Localvolts charges its own daily fee, and your electricity charges still apply. Earnings are not guaranteed.
Will it work with my retailer?
Sunnn+ works with Localvolts only. Localvolts passes the live wholesale price through to you, and as a Sunnn partner it shares those prices with Sunnn+ to trade on. It covers ACT, NSW, QLD, SA and TAS, not VIC or WA yet, and you can join through our link. Sunnn+ does not run on Amber, which has its own battery trading (SmartShift), so moving to Sunnn+ means leaving Amber. Flat-rate plans have no spread to trade.
Are the earnings figures real?
Yes. We only ever show actual dollars, calculated from your real metered energy flows and the real prices you were charged or paid. No modelled or hypothetical numbers.
